Janelle Kee-Sue is a talented photographer based in Wellington, New Zealand, with more than 10 years' experience. She provides affordable in-home newborn and baby photoshoot sessions in Wellington, and believes everyone should have access to affordable professional photography.
Your photoshoot can be at a location of your choosing - either outdoors (babies and toddlers only) or in the comfort of your own home.
Mobile lifestyle newborn photography
For newborn photography, I come to you and take photos in your own home. This results in lovely lifestyle photos of you and baby. We will take photos of your baby by themselves, and also photos of you and your family members with your baby.
All-inclusive and transparent pricing
You do not pay per image like some other photographers charge. I edit all the images we take during our session and you get all these included in the price. There are no hidden costs. You will receive 200-600 edited images from your photoshoot depending on the package you choose.

I provide two newborn photography packages to suit your needs and budget. You can also choose to add a 1-hour maternity photoshoot to your package at a discounted price to capture your pregnancy before baby arrives!
Golden Newborn Photoshoot Package - $497
Perfect for getting a range of stunning photos of your baby on their own as well as immediate family. My golden newborn photoshoot package includes a 1.5 our photoshoot at a location of your choosing (usually in your own home), and you will receive all the best images edited and sent to you online via We-Transfer - high resolution suitable for printing on canvas - within two weeks.
This package includes:

Platinum Newborn Photoshoot Package - $697
This package will ensure you get a full range of stunning photos of your baby on their own as well as family. This package is suited for larger families who would like images with baby, and those that would like a larger selection of outfits, set-ups and props.
This package includes:

5x baby outfit changes (outfits supplied by you).

Individual photos of baby.

Receive approximately 400-550 edited photos within 2 weeks.
Price: $697 for a 2.5 hour photoshoot. (Includes all images - no hidden costs)
Bonus: Add 1-hr Maternity Photo Session: $349 (usually $449)
Travel: Janelle is based in Camborne, Porirua, and up to 30 minutes of travel time is included in your photoshoot package. Travel beyond 30 minutes each way (Google maps estimation) will incur a travel fee of $1 per km and be added to your final invoice.
FAQ
Do you provide props?
Yes, I bring a range of props with me, including blankets of different colours, a white rug, positioning cushions, a rope basket and lighting. However, if you have particular props in mind you will need to provide these yourself, as well as provide the outfits and swaddles for your baby to wear. Please discuss your ideas with me and share a Pinterest board of your ideas so we can create a plan for bringing them to life!
When is the best time to book a newborn photoshoot?
Within two weeks of your baby being born is the ideal time for a newborn photoshoot. This is because your baby will sleep more often. When you know your due date, book your photoshoot for the next week or two after that. Then get in touch with me when your baby is born and we will adjust the booking if needed, by either bringing it forward or pushing it back.
Since your baby will arrive when they want to, we must be flexible. Therefore, all newborn bookings are pencilled in until you confirm.
